Between Honesty and Bitterness

It’s like I can’t give a direct answer to anything these days.

“It sounds like you’re unhappy”

I responded with a sigh.

There was some truth in that.

The only thing that kept me barely afloat is that I have some gratitude.

However small it may be.

Perhaps that is the remaining sanity in me.
