Title of My Life Story

“Arrested development” would literally summarise the gist of my life nicely.

I am fortunate that I do have a few circle of friends that I can say mean more to me than mere acquaintances. Perhaps it was less because of me than it was by them - I find that I am terrible at keeping relationships, especially since I shun facebook away like the plague - but I can safely say that, no matter at which walk of life, I am always left behind.

Academics are one thing.

Marriage and kids are another.

These milestones are what keep people connected. They share experiences and exchange stories. This is how people keep on having things to talk about.

Sadly, I am always several steps behind. Abandoned.

My unconventional interests only compound the conundrum.

They say that everyone has his or her own pace.

At the rate I am going, it looks like I’m still crawling on all fours. For how long, I have no idea.

I am Ruined

What’s that one word that is sure to send me into a state of fumbling disarray?

“Sale”.

Not your usual horror story prompt, but I did say my life is atypical.
