Back in the Gaming Zone
Jul. 28th, 2019 05:26 pmOkay, so I have to admit that Fire Emblem Heroes has got me hooked.
And now I'm re-dabbling into Star Ocean after I have dusted off my long forsaken PSP.
Perhaps rather than purchasing new games, I should revisit my older, unfinished games.
This will surely do my wallet justice.
As a side note, Maria remains to be my favourite Star Ocean female character, and Albel as my favourite male character.
Never mind that Rena of SO2 is a fan favourite.
Me and my forever unpopular opinions.

Fleeting Nature of Things Alive and Not
Dec. 30th, 2017 09:29 pm1. So farewell to unfairly disposed items of mine. I probably should have taken care of you but...there is no escape from one's own doom at times.
2. Okay so maybe my shopping behaviour is getting slightly out of hand...
3. I should make it a rule that I can only purchase a game after finishing one. At the moment my backlog is just too immense it's not even funny anymore...
4. FML. My life's story is the reason I have trust issues. There are good things that I should thank God for, truly, but I just...well, I hate myself more often than I should.

...Why am I hunting so hard for Fire Emblem Birthright and Steins;Gate when I know - better than anyone - that they'll end up collecting dust instead of being played?
2. I can't wait for my Spyair Kingdom CD to arrive!
...it took all of my self control to not get UVERworld's Bugright at once. Because my wallet cried out to me.
Not to say that there is no regret.
...Screw it, either way there's still gonna be regret.

What Am I Doing with My Life #4
Oct. 8th, 2017 10:27 pm1. I STILL shop too much these days. Splurging is bad, self. It's not like my wallet can handle it in the long run.
2. Blade Runner 2049 is too damned long. Would be great if they'd cut the scenes where the characters stare at each other or at the screen by at least 50% - it might reduce the duration of the film.
It must mean something when I got tired of gawking at Ryan Gosling's face, right?
3. Funko POP! Riku is coming out end of this year! Which probably means it'll only land on our shores early next year...if we're lucky. Pfft.
4. The temptation to purchase FFXII for the PS4 and UVERworld's album...plus Fire Emblem Birthright is too great. Smh.
5. Apple iTunes 12.7 is making things more complicated than necessary. What the hell, Apple??

May. 13th, 2017 01:19 am1. Self proclaimed Apple fangirl here. And I have to say that Apple sucks at times. Not most of the time, but a close 50% of the time.
The bluetooth is wholly unreliable. MIght as well get that feature out but no...they abolished the earphone jack instead for their iPhone 7.
Synching using itunes - and ONLY itunes - is, for the lack of better word, restrictive. And it's not just the music transfer, mind you - but everything including your PDF files?
And now I can't even sync my phones.
At all.
Goddamnit.

I love turn-based combat. So what if it's incredibly outdated and unrealistic? At least you control ALL of your characters.
3. Dangerously tempted to resurrect my Steam account ever since they have Trails of the Sky III.
4. As for real life...I'm finally a postgraduate student.

This means less gaming, less playing around...
...and more getting stressed out.
